Great magnet and strong attachment. If it had a dim feature, then it would be perfect. The light is incredibly bright and I guess that's what you want, so it does its job great.

Switches fail -- don't waste your time.

I purchased a helmet light in the fall -- the switch failed after a few weeks. Thousand replaced it under warranty. Now the replacement has the same problem, switch failure after less than two months. These things are garbage.

Great with a slight suggestion

The light is extremely bright. Saved my life many times as it increased my visibility to others. I have lost mine unfortunately as it seems it may have come off if on a very bumpy ride. Maybe the next version can also have a locking mechanism of some sort for some of us who put the helmet to the test. 10/10 would recommend this and the Chapter helmet.

Switches break

Bought a helmet light, switch stopped working within a few weeks (wouldn't turn on). Got a replacement under warranty. It stopped working too (won't turn off)! These things are junk!!

Very bright and easy to charge. Sits securely.

Brighter than I thought (and that's a good thing)

First off, I love that it recharges USB-C; thank you for not picking micro-USB. Second, 40 lumens doesn't sound very bright (at least in my head). I was proven wrong when I turned it on, and yeah....it's plenty. Magnets are strong enough to where you don't have to worry about it falling off on accident. I personally leave it on Eco flash.

Nice addition

This is a big upgrade for the prior version of the thousand helmet. Very strong light improves my safety biking in the city at night. I like the fit, I like the battery power, I like the lighting options. I'm a little concerned it might get knocked off and lost, however. Just need to be careful about stowing it as soon as you stop using it.
